Kinsey Lee Clark, a recent senior in the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication, completed her Fall 2015 work as the Innovation Fellow with the Cox Institute for Journalism, Management and Leadership.
Clark, a magazine journalism major from Athens, achieved significant success during her time as the Innovation Fellow. She completed the Grady Mobile News Lab and won the top business plan award in the entrepreneurial journalism course. She attended the fall conference of the Society of American Business Editors and Writers (SABEW) as a Cox-SABEW Fellow. Clark also contributed to the operations of the Cox Institute by maintaining its website and designing and producing promotional material for Grady’s Entrepreneurial Journalism Symposium, the Mobile News Lab and the “Cox Institute Presents” lecture series.

Kinsey Clark, the Cox Institute’s Fall 2015 Innovation Fellow, celebrated the Grady Convocation with Dr. Keith Herndon, Cox Institute faculty, and convocation speaker, Carole Munroe, a Grady alum and Disney public relations executive. Clark headed to the Magic Kingdom in Orlando following graduation to begin a six-month professional communications internship.
Clark graduated at the end of the Fall 2015 semester and accepted a six-month post-graduate training position with Disney in Orlando where she will work as professional communications intern.
Clark graduated Magna Cum Laude and participated in numerous experiential learning opportunities in and out of the classroom during her time at UGA. She traveled to the Cannes Film Festival in a study abroad program, was an innovation reporter covering the 2015 Georgia Technology Summit and received the medal for best overall writing in her magazine journalism course. She also interned at Fast Copy Communications, wrote for the student magazine, Ampersand, and held design roles at UGA PreMed Magazine and the Little Red Book.
