Digital Natives pairs UGA journalism students with newsrooms to help local news organizations accomplish specific digital goals. Apply as a student or Georgia news organization.

The Journalism Innovation Lab hosts Skills in Sixty, lunch sessions to jumpstart journalism knowledge, and Hackathons, 90-minute collaborations to ‘hack the code’ behind emerging journalism trends. The Journalism Innovation Lab builds a Journalism Innovation Team each semester, by application, to partner with an professional organization in the industry to dive deep into emerging practice or research, like the Reynolds Journalism Institute or the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
