Calling all aspiring podcasters! The Cox Institute for Journalism Innovation, Management and Leadership is looking for an enterprising new host for its podcast, The Lead. The podcast was created through the Cox Institute’s Innovation Fellowship program during fall 2016 and features Q&A-style interviews with influential people in the media industry.
The current host of The Lead, Daniel Funke, is graduating and we need someone new to take the microphone. The Innovation Fellowship includes a $1,000 stipend per semester and the chance to flex your audio storytelling skills. Think you have what it takes? Submit these three things to Dr. Keith Herndon in the Cox Institute by 5 p.m. on April 12:
- A resume
- A brief 1 or 2-paragraph explanation stating why you want to host the podcast
- A 2 to 3-minute audio sample of you asking someone a question
